Yes! This is my very first song which I call "Very First Song." I created it using the MagicScore Maestro 7.0 software. This song is nearly 25 years in the making. I've been work on it off and on -- mostly off.
The origins of "Very First Song" actually go back to 1980. Back then I called it "First Song." It had no lyrics (yet) and it had a different melody than "Very First Song." Even back then, I was under the impression that "First Song" was a mediocre song. But I felt that I had to have a first song that identifies itself as a first song, so it didn't necessarily have to be a good song. Besides, I was more focused on better-sounding tunes I came up with around that time like "When History Repeats Itself" which I thought up in 1981. More on that song later, of course. But some time after that, I began to think of "First Song" as being way worse than mediocre. So by 1987, I decided to change the name of the song to "Very First Song." That sounded (and still sounds) like a more original title to me. Soon thereafter, I came up with the tune for the song.
And now it's finally here (or will be here soon to be more precise). "Very First Song." The song that started it all. In Esperanto, that would be: "Unua Kanto." Estas la komencaĵo.
This is the start of a new kind of music
songs set apart from the kind of tunes you'd pick
I've done my best to do this very first song
Have I passed the test? Is this song musically strong?
Very First Song
The song that started it all
Very First Song
The song that started it all
This song displays how I get my music done
Because these days creativity should be for everyone
Let's hope that my music can make it real big
Then I can say why, I can make songs folks dig like...
Very First Song
The song that started it all
Very First Song
Very first, Very First Song
Very First Song
The song that started it all
Very First Song
Very first, Very First Song
